Who We Are

I’m J.D. Houvener, and I am a husband, father of 3, Patent attorney, and a fellow business owner with a passion for new technology and helping people navigate challenging areas of federal law.

Like Patents, Tax Law is federal, so I love getting to serve clients all over this beautiful country. And, I love that there is only one statute that you need to know about (Title 26 of the United States Code – 26 U.S.C.) The problem is… that statute is huge, ever-changing, and is constantly litigated and up for interpretation.

While that sounds daunting and scary, I’ve decided to found this firm with a talented team of Tax Attorneys to help business owners with making that all important decision of how to form, or how to restructure the business with an eye toward taxation and minimizing burden to allow businesses to thrive financially and do more with what they have.

Why Bold tax?

Our Tax Attorneys and Professionals will help you determine the type of entity you should form, or should restructure to, in order to suit your business and individual tax burdens.

Did you know...

Seemingly insignificant decisions, like deciding what type of IRS tax entity to form, made up front, considered in advance, can help you maximize your net income while minimizing your tax burden.

Because I need it?

As the business owner, or co-owner in a company, there are many things to consider, among them is how you’ll receive income. Instead of making money, and then planning on how you’re going to pay taxes on that money – you should contemplate the type of business entity to form to properly take advantage of the advantages, write-offs, and benefits that the IRS tax code allows.

Initial Tax Consultation
